I found this lovely looking guy today and was quite shocked at the price. So it got me wondering, is this actually a RiD Scourge? Or is it a knock off? Or one of those Korean versions like Railracer?

No, THAT is the genuine article! Not a Sonokong Korean release, not a bootleg - that's Takara's D-12 Black Convoy.  

Sonokong's Black Convoy would look like this. Surprisingly, it was a bitch to actually find the box for the Sonokong release. Note that the one in the auction has the white Takara logo in Japanese in the bottom-right corner, and the difference between the Japanese and Korean characters.
