That's a relief. In that case, it looks pretty good for something so small.

Dreadwing could be a reuse of the Skyquake design - after all, models are expensive and Skyquake only got two episodes worth of use. If Dreadwing is a similar model of warrior - such as how Cliffjumper and Tailgate share basic chasis designs - it could work.

For now though all we know is it's a blue version of a previously unseen Prime Cyberverse Commander Skyquake. And that it looks good.

I know right? I love those commanders so much. I think I like them better than most big toys we got in late years.

 

From the way they've described Dreadwing, he's going to be a major or major-ish character. I don't think they'd just slap a Skyquake suit on him and call it done.

Unless they use Skyquake's animation model for Dreadwing. I would be cool with that.

 

Official confirmation - we just received the same official release from Hasbro. Blue guy is named Dreadwing in the filenames.

The colors look like BW Depth Charge to me but the mold don't really make much sense because he's a jet.

Well, I was wrong. That is indeed Dreadwing. Kind of wish he had a different color scheme though...

 

Bah. Generic as all hell. I was expecting something more imposing to go with Tony Todd's voice.

 

Who says he'll do Dreadwing's voice in his deep voice. For all we know he could surprise us.

That being said, I think Dreadwing is the bomb. His deco is awesome and is by far better than Skyquake.

 

Dreadwing isn't imposing? He's the second tallest(or maybe tallest) of the entire cast if he's using Skyquake's model.
