That's a pretty rare giftset right there. Looks legit to me but you never know the price is definitely cheep.

The sunspot behind Defensor is extremely yellow and does not fade around the edges, which would point to it being a fake.

Exactly what I noticed too...and the price is way to cheap for a defensor giftset in that shape.

Absolutely it is a KO. Dead giveaway is the styrafoam. The original is a perfect rectangle, this one has the ridges in it. Also, Blades and Hotspot are a little too low in their windows.

    This is a KO.

The box is a KO. The styrofoam is wrong. The Hot Spot was given a sticker.

I just noticed that. I think that's the first picture I've seen of the styrofoam. Typically the lack of factory stickers is a dead giveaway. Must be this guy got a set of repro labels... unless the factory stickers are included with the KO?

Makes you wonder how many people will pick up the reissue giftset and put authentic toys in the packaging and try to resell it for $$$.

At least he ammended the description to say it's a "reissue." He's being somewhat honest.

I doubt it was the seller being honest, more like somebody questioned him and then he changed it.

In other words, somebody called him out on the item being a KO/Reissue. Now where is ANONYMOUS when you need him? Maybe he reported that one already ;)

I asked him a couple of days ago, my answer from him was ( Dear neuroticaa,

As far as i know it is legit, i got it a while back, I've compared it to my other defensor and is the exact same

    - dbalmer69 )

I havent reported him tough, but I know that he has changed the description of the item, when it came out it didnt stood a thing about a reissue or anything.

He either lied to you or isn't very observant. I'd wager on the former.

Lied. The differences are really obvious when you look at them in person. There are a lot of misspelled or incomplete words on the tech specs as well as image issues that are glaringly obvious. Unless he has another KO that he was comparing it to.

If he truly is an "honest" seller, he would have cancelled all bids on that item once he added the reissue portion. It's not so bad now with the bid at $0.99, but we also have no idea what the max bid is for the current high bidder.
