Is it safe to shrink wrap up misb transformers? I see this done alot, but im wonder if this will be bad for the boxes? Can the moisture in the basement or heat upstairs of the house etc trap in moisture and make the boxes wet or moist inside over time? Did anyone have this done with any issues?

Shrink Wrap could potentially crush the packaging as it will contract over time, if you mean like Saran wrap it could also cause the packages to be crushed to an extent.

How about bubble wrap? Will it stick to boxes in the long run?

Keep the boxes suspended in a vacuum, that'll keep them fresh.

Bubble wrap??? No..but bubblegum will :D  (I know, my bad)

Seriously, you should do some research on some acid free paper or carton ideas. Not sure how long or where you want to store your MISB but a controlled environment would be the best thing. There may be a plastic wrap out there that doesn't disc olor or shrink with time but it may also be cost prohibitive. Good luck.

Actually I have a better idea for you,if you wanna store them put them in those plastic storage boxes,I have 5 or 6 of them full of transformers and they work damn good,as mine have been outside for 6 months, and they are virtually rain and sun proof, ain't none of my TF's faded or got a bath yet.Hope this helps.

You may not want to AFA items, but those acrylic cases are great. They can be costly, but they'd be totally worth it:

Hi, may I know the brand of plastic storage boxes that you use? I've been using plastic boxes but the problem is some dust is able to enter after sometime. Thanks.

It's good enough protection for knockoffs.
