I bought this off the bay. The box clearly seems legit. My only concern is the copyright on the toy. It seems like this one from crazy steve's markings site

However all but the hasbro line is blocked out.

    Here is mine

Anyone have one similar, or know anything conclusive. I'm a bit nervous so would love some comfirmation.

    Thanks!

My KO is one shade of white. But that toy is Legit, so is the box. It has the correct wheel hub screws, the 539 is the correct font/size and the box doesn't have the errors. The backer card and bubble however, are reproductions.

I would say its real because of the tag lol. Its kind of hard to fake a vintage price tag

I think I figured it out. I looked at the europe classic copyright of wheeljack and that is the one. So this one originally came in one of those classic gold boxes in europe and I got it in the usa box, hence my panic. As far as the tag goes, I never disputed the box, plus as someone said it doesn't have any of the errors. It was the ttoy and mostly the copyright that bothered me. It's beyond mint so I got nervous. But the gold classic ones were released in europe in 1990-1991 so thats why it's so mint, a bit newer.

That would explain the white backer card also, white backers only showed up on euro and mexican gold box TFs. So the backer is legit it just doesn't match the box.

If I am not mistaken the Euro missile launchers do not fire. Assuming the launchers are original to the toy that would be an easy way of confirming.
