Is the image on top a KO? Everything else looks legit, no factory crease on the back, but I can't figure out why the checkered background extends into the window. Seller said he's seen a few of these and they're not KO's, but box misprints. What do you think?

It also has the black border around the three pics on the front. Some dude a while back had that on ebay, and was selling his for over $1000 because he thought it was so rare. IIRC, the auction was taken down before it sold. Maybe he figured out it was a KO.

Not sure if it's a KO, but I wouldn't buy it if I were you.

It sure is convieniently covered up on that last pic.

Although he does look a bit worn, like an original. You would think a KO would be shiny and new.

what? how does that prove anything? the previous owner likely put the wheels on roller, no one is saying it came like that. the "push through holes in styrofoam" insert makes it seem awfully legit.

Still, its in pretty bad condition no matter what. you can do better.

Here's another one I spotted from a reputable seller. Looks pretty beat up and old and original to me. Some black borders and extended backgroundi nto the window.

FYI, the Mexican Prime has the same box layout as this one (except for the language and markings of course)

Pics of the wheels of the cab, the copyright stamping on the trailer and the back of the box (under the techspecs) would help identifying it.

I got one answer from Hasbro itself about this box:

"In the U.S. this was a Toys R Us exclusive. This could explain the difference as well.
One may be a refreshed item, therefore packaging may vary. This does not alter the item itself."
