I'm giving up all my Action Masters (see: all US released Action Masters) and my Micromasters (most US released) to a fellow collector/co-worker for some of the following figures:

    - G1 Sludge
    - G1 Swoop
    - G1 Shockwave
    - G1 Red Rumble/Frenzy/whatever
    - A few combiner pieces (Aerialbots, Protectobots)
    - A couple Monsterbots

Now, both sides of things are opened and loose, both of us have stuff in good or not so good condition. There's more I'm getting, I just can't remember. Would you guys make that trade?

I could also get a second boxed G1 Prime and G1 Soundwave, if I really wanted, but I have so many versions....

i guess that would depend, what are the "all action/micro masters?" and how many?

just a quick estmate, you're getting about $500 worth of stuff.

do your masters to the worth of that amount?

Seems like an alright deal, those are some nice items a lot harder to get than Actionmasters, but I guess it depends on how much you value them and the Micromasters... If I had a shot at boxed Prime and Soundwave on top of it I'd take them, more trade fodder, find someone that has another complete Actionmaster or Micromaster set to trade for them.

Its a tough choice because I agree that some Action Masters and Micromasters stuff may be hard to find.

    I would consider these factors:
    i) if I exchange my stuff, would I regret it?
ii) What's the focus of my collection?
iii) the condition of my collection vs the condition of the other party's?

If I were in your shoes, I would exchange the Action Masters and Micro Masters...for me its a personal thingy..I like the earlier stuff more such as G1 Prime, Soundwave, Dinobots etc.

you'd have to be crazy to NOT take the boxed primes and soundwaves though, i mean just sell them if you don't want them.

IF you are talking about just the US released Action Masters, they can be found on ebay regularly. Gutcruncher, Prime and Megatron are gonna cost you a little but if you shop around you should be ok. I saw a complete Gutcruncher for $40. Action Master lots pop up all the time. Dinobots are going up in value and not a lot of people put a high dollar on Micro masters. I would say go for it. As long as the bots you are getting are in good working shape.
    I hope this helps

Go for it and then send me the boxed Prime. If you can believe it, with all the Primes I have, I don't have a real G1 version!

Without seeing both traded lots, it would be difficult for me to call.

Its a tough decision. If you are going for value of the toys, I would say it is about even, but slightly in his favor, but you did say there is some other stuff you are getting. But if you go by quantity of toys, there are more action masters and Micromasters that he will be getting than figures you will be recieving in return, but then it goes to the value again. Tough decision, try to get the Soundwave and Prime, to make it even sweeter.

That trade would be a no-brainer good deal to me, however, I have never cared much for Action Masters or micromasters...so I'm biased on this one.

I'd do it... but I'm not much of an Action Masters fan.

If I were you I'd make sure I get the Prime and Soundwave before agreeing to the trade.
