without even knowing what you have it is not worth what you could make. They are a store and have overhead, they will make money off of you. I offered up all my Spawn collection and they offered $400 and I have to pay for shipping. It would cost me about that to ship all of that. Don't do it, sell it off a little at a time.

    My 2 cents!

Off-hand, it's probably not bad for one huge lot. Definitely a pain to sell in smaller lots or as individuals plus the insert/final fees for ebay would eat into the overall total as well.

Are you paying for shipping cuz that's gonna be pretty costly to ship.

They are probably expecting Beast Wars, Machines and Armada to be the next G1 in a few years' time, which I doubt. It's probably half of what you could get selling these yourself.

You could probably come close to doubling that your self if you sold it on ebay. However if you want to sell them all in the one bulk i'd accept that offer.

Selling them all on ebay would be time consuming and you could end up with dead beat buyers and the like...

Is $2650.00 the maximum you can get from BBTS? Perhaps you could bargain for more? Not sure if that would work I've never sold anything to them.

With BBTS buying your collection, you pay the shipping to get it to them. I got like almost $300 in store credit and the shipping ended up costing me $55.

I think it's worth it if...
You don't want to mess with selling it (listing, paying ebay fees, dont' have time, etc).
You've tried selling it before with 0 interest.
You want it gone and you want BBTS credit.

Thats where I was at with my Star Wars items. Everyone wanted stuff for cheap or they weren't interested with it....

So my advice is, you've already sent them what you have so you obviously don't care if you sell it.

And selling it this way you will without a doubt get your amount as promised. Sure you could sell it for more here or eBay... but who knows.

    Ebay:
I don't know... I sell things to BBTS all the time, but only after I've attempt to sell it on eBay. With Transformers you'll get more than that for all those items and my biggest gripe about selling to BBTS is that you have to pay the shipping. Which looks like it'll be costly at that size of a collection.

shipping wasnt all that much.....considering i get a shipping discount at my job as we are always shipping and recieving stuff (plus 17 years of job seniority helps) Definitely a pain to sell in smaller lots or as individuals plus the ebay fees would be unbelievable. not to mention all the deadbeat bidders/drama i would have to put up with. another factor being a single fulltime parent to a 16 year old, owning and maintaining a 100 year old fixer-upper house as well as having both a full and part time job. doing the smaller route might get me more in the long run, but quite frankly i dont have the time nor the energy to do this.

    ^^^
I think the path is clear...

And yeah, I don't care for paying the shipping myself. But then again I figure that would be just that much less the customer would get for their trade ins.

    Where is BBTS located?

It might be better and cheaper to deliver them to BBTS yourself.

It wouldn't hurt to cut and past your list into a thread on the Junkion Exchange to see if anyone can match it and pay your shipping expense. It's a good deal from the buyer's point of view and I'd offer it myself if I had the spare cash.
