In anticipation of Universe/Classics Galvatron, I picked up Classics Rodimus.

Well, he's great, but I can't get his legs straight! The panels on his hips are blocked from being straight by the top-of-the-car kibble on his back, so I either have to have him displayed bending over, or his legs far apart, making him look like he's taking a crap.

I don't think his hip panels are meant to be straight. I think it's supposed to look like this

Would you happen to have any pics of your Rodimus? I'm loling just imagining what sort of pose you have him in.

    Do yo have a pic?

Sounds like you may have missed a step in the TF. His entire hip section slides forward to have the legs line up a little better with the chest.

    Wow, I missed that entirely.

    Thanks for the help!

BTW, this fig's alt mode is huge! (for a deluxe) And his "saw" weapon is really stupid.

So, any other cool things about this figure?

EDIT: Just noticed his gun can be used as a jet pack!

I think the saw is a nice little nod to the animated movie.

It's too tiny. And it doesn't even look like a saw- but just a smooth circle.

Yeah it is, but it doesn't resemble a sawblade at all. Looks like a pizza slicer.

I'm pretty sure the packaging refers to it as a com link not a saw. That'd be why it's not serrated.

A com link? How in the Pit do they pass that off as a com link?

It's a homage to the movie, though.

Obviously not, unicronsupreme said it was a comm link.

I wouldn't have known that's what it was, if I didn't see the movie.

He said the box said it was a comm link, but it's obvious(To anyone who has seen the movie) as to what it really is.

I've seen the movie dozens of times and I never registered that it was supposed to be his saw because it looks nothing like a saw. I just thought it was a stupid com link thing. Now I know that it's a stupid saw thing that looks like a stupid com link thing. I think they went for the saw and really messed up and decided that it looks more like a microphone or something and so we ended up with the half-assed disc thing we have now.
