So, I've been really getting into Victory lately and love Star Saber. I searched around and all Star Saber toys look pretty..... ugly.

Is there a chance that Star Saber could ever get the Universe or Generations treatment? Maybe others of the Victory line?

Blacker's pretty cool, but the toy I saw of him was quite.... atrocious.

When you go to Botcon, do the exect there seem to know about all the Victory and Star Saber love?

.....is there a lot/enough love for the hero of the universe?

Honestly the chances seem really high. as Starsabre was a faction leader.
my preferred choice would be 2 MP ultra sized 8 inch figures of both starsabre & victoryleo that can combine into victorysabre. HOWEVER THE COMBINED MODE NEEDS TO CHANGE FOR THE UPDATE AS HAVING THOSE LION BOOTS LOOKED PURE AWFUL. I envison a Energon 2-in-1 styled shirt pants combined for victorysabre. or a energon wingsabre+optimus prime combination design.

I'd love to see the 2011 generations toy line have voyager & leader sized toys. voyager sized toys for starsabre & victoryleo that combine into a leader sized toy would be leaps & bounds awesome.

I really hope so, Star Saber is one awesome mofo. I scream "BATTARU UP!" every time I put on a hat.

If any Transformer from the Japanese line could break into the US mainline, it's Star Saber. Or who knows, maybe Dai Atlas could pull it off, he has after all had a little bit more mainstream depiction lately in the Drift miniseries.

Chances of either are slim though, and personally, I'd rather a complete non-toy guy gets done. Like Flame, Impactor or Xaaron.

Come to think of it, it may happen, considering the cancelled Robot Heroes Victory figures.

    Goddammit fuck yes.

I think the only hurdle is the feasibility in terms of size n price. The giftset would be be very big n expensive. Even something like predaking is actually relatively compact in packaging.

I keep hearing Straxus was a long shot... why?

And at Botcons, does Star Saber ever come up to execs and the such that are there to take questions?

    I mean... do they know?

Star Saber needs some love, especially since Hasbro only uses the name for a lame sword.

I think if it was done, it would be smaller than the G1 version. At best, maybe they would be voyager size but more likely, deluxe size. Too obscure. A way to get them is if someone on Prime likes them & works them into the show somehow. Once people know who the characters are, the more likely a new version will be made that more matches the G1 version.

I got a Star Saber back in the whenever (when I was a young collector), so I wouldn't be interested in a reissue personally. He's an imposing brick robot with some interesting gimmicks and combining aspects that doesn't really turn into much.

Robot Masters Victory Saber, ugly? What? It may not be the most articulated toy around, but its FAR from ugly.

I remember a few internet TF fans were able to buy those cancelled robot heroes figures from ebay months ago. so they were apparently made in extremly small amounts over seas. as either salesmans samples, convention production samples or perhaps stolen from those over seas factories.

It would be sweet and honestly not that hard to believe that they would make him in generations hunt for the shield solar system classics 3.0 revenge of the dark moon or whatever they are calling that line nowadays.

Probably not a reissue, but I wouldn't say no to a new Star Saber toy!
