So, I keep looking over my Classics Autobots, and then the pics of the upcoming first wave of 2.0, and keeping Sideswipe in mind, and I'm noticing theres a whole lot of red, white, shades of yellow. I'm thinking a good character to add some color to the team (not to mention a classic Autobot character in his own right) would be Hound. He fits the criteria of having a real world vehicular alt mode, and not being in animated (least not that I know of). Like they're doing with Prowl, they could give him his shoulder cannon to sweeten the deal even further. Plus, not only would a green jeep (or at least jeep-like vehicle) help the Autobots add some much needed color to their palette, he'd have a vehicle type we currently haven't seen in Classics (and even if they wanted to do an Ironhide figure down the line, it'd likely still be different enough to still feel unique). Keeping in mind that with 2.0 they seem to be doing figures that have repaint/redeco potential, Hound might not seem like such a great choice, but there is the potential for a Swindle redeco here. Not only have they made a Swindle figure from a Hound mold before (Alternators) but both characters have jeep alt-modes, both have relatively block-shaped heads (which means either head design should be able to work within the transformation), and if they were feeling frisky enough Hasbro could even find a way to transform the chest differently (like with Sunstreaker) to allow them to have a their own distinct look. Unlike an Autobot repaint, this would give the Classics Decepticons some much needed gound support. It also would be a good choice with Onslaught coming out; we already have the Combaticon leader- how bout some fellow team mates to hang out with? And, like with Hound and the Autobots, Swindle would give the Decepticon ranks some greater color variety too.
