Is there any reasonable way to obtain the original 3 seekers in the same line?

I'm a newbie collector and I'd really like to get Thundercracker, Starscream, and Skywarp in the same style.
I can't seem to find them all in the same line, within reason.
Such as the new DotM Skywarp is going to be exclusive to Takara, there doesn't seem to be a typical seeker model Skywarp from what I can find, and the Animated doesn't have a Thundercracker.

Am I out of luck when it comes to finding these three with the same model, or have I just missed something?

All three are available in Armada, Cybertron, and Alternity, plus all three have been reissued by both Takara and Hasbro. Picking up all three for the movieverse Seekers (well, the main three) is still possible if you go for the Voyager class toys instead of the deluxes. However, that DotM Deluxe Skywarp might be a lot cheaper than what a legit Classics Skywarp and Starscream go.

There's also the Animated Activators, but Skywarp is even more expensive as a Family Mart exclusive compared to the DotM Deluxe.

Gah I didn't even think of Armada, that's awesome.

Well that's pretty cool then, thanks.

    Classics 1 Starscream
    KO Henkei Skywarp
    Gen Thundercracker

Still will be around 100 for the 3 but that's the cheapest unless you go with TFTM Voyager

WSTs would be nice and cheap :D  Assuming you get the KOs that is, but I don't know if anyone can really tell the difference anyway. Cybertron would be trickier, as Starscream had Legends-class and Supreme-class releases in the states, while Skywarp and TC were a different (and rather crappy) mold.

sometimes you have to go beyond reasonable for the good ones. Henkei SS and SW and go with generations TC.

I can't say that you're out of luck. It just requires a lot of patience and diligence.

Henkei TC suffered from pretty bad mold degradation; most notably the missile launchers tend not to stay on the arms, also it can be pretty floppy.

That being said there's always the Robot Masters versions, they're pretty good and by most considered to rival the Classics/Henkei mold.

Ya, i myself am almost done getting all the seekers in the Classics mold, got a Henkei SW on the way and I just need SS, Ramjet, and if they ever make a Sunstorm I'll nab that too.
But pertaining to the question, ya lots patience is required!

I think he was referring to American Classics releases, not characters. Of course if you include both Starscreams, there was also the Botcon seekers released in America.

But your right, there are only 7 official characters.

They're all available pretty reasonably in the Movie 1 Voyager mold.

I love the Robot Masters Seekers. No one cares about them anymore since the Classics came out.
