Yes. It didn't look like all of it got through the Space Bridge, so when the Space Bridge blew up, not all of it would have been destroyed.
It kind of half-turned into a black-hole so I'm hoping that Cybertron itself will become Unicron!
He's dead, Jim.
I'm trying to make myself believe that only that slice of Cybertron that had come through the bridge was destroyed. So a few million light years away, the other 2/3 of Cybertron is still there, with a giant chunk sliced neatly out of it. I can dream, right?
At any rate, it's a good thing Primus doesn't exist in this continuity...otherwise, Bumblebee would have killed his own god.
Probably the part that didn't make it through before ihe bridge was cut off might still be out there in space, unaffected by the implosion.
It's all your fault, Bumblebee.
I thought Cybertron was more or less destroyed after the space bridge collapsed. At least, it certainly looked like it to me.
Why did it flush like Star Trek 2009 in the first place? Shouldn't the partial Cybertron just be floating next to Earth reeking all kinds of havoc on the planet?
You're right. It even LOOKED like Unicron for a second. At least, I thought it did.
I think cybertron might still exist. It may have only been the effect of it's warp signature that made it look like it was imploding.
It looks like it was getting sucked into a black hole AND exploding. That tells me all I need to know.
Very possible, because only about 1/8th got destroyed
The planet got chopped; then imploded.
Anything can mysteriously return in the movieverse. Just because what we saw looked like it was destroyed doesn't mean that it was. After all, everyone thought the Matrix was destroyed at the end of ROTF, and it returned unharmed in DOTM.
Yeah, but the Matrix turned to Dust and Reassembled itself because it was the Indestructible MacGuffin. Cybertron isn't a MacGuffin, Cybertron is a dead world and now it' even deader.
But Prime apparently destroyed the Matrix along with the Sun Harvester at the end of ROTF. All appearances looked as if it were gone and forgotten.
Likewise, Cybertron appears to be a dead world, or at least that's what we're meant to believe from the Autobots. It may not be as dead as we or the Autobots liked to think.
Also, the very nature of technology like Space Bridge leads to all sorts of possibilities. What looked like destruction might have been simply the planet being transport somewhere else or even transformed into something greater.
cybertron was never alive to begin with.
With the film producers saying Unicron brings several problems is it mroe likely that they may go the Quintison route in reviving, or creating a new Decepticon leader?
I hope only the part of Cybretron that came through the space bridge was blown up. It means more G-1 in the movies with part of the planet missing.
