    Hey all,

I accidentally broke the lower tab for my beloved Maketoys Battle Sentinel chest piece yesterday, while trying to remove it. After freaking out for 10 minutes, I decided to go ahead and superglue. This morning it seemed fined and when I put it on and pulled it off a few times. (By the way, I just used Krazy Glue) Is there a way to add more support to that glued joint? Can I add something else to that to keep it slightly flexible, but fused?

    Thanks in advance!

Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Super glue isn't good at all for anything that has pressure put on it that is designed to come apart. It'll hold for a short while but will crack quickly.
Look into Five Second Fix. That stuff works nicely for support.

I'll get a picture up when I get up. I'm really digging this Five Second Fix thing. I'll have to stop by Walmart on my way home.

Tip: put the FSF around the piece, then set it with the light. Just a dab in one spot will most likely pop off.

Here's a pic of where it broke. If look at the top center of the piece, you'll see a white line where the fracture occurred. So far the super glue is holding, but I went to the store and was only able to find Laser Bond. It looks to me like it operate on the same principle as FSF. I'm gonna try it out later.

Same stuff, different name. It's all just UV cured liquid resin.
