I don't think that picture's correct. I mean, it probably does hold it in place via friction, but I've found a place it seems to actually plug in.

There's an area in the internals of the toy, in the lower back, that plugs into the bottom of the backpack, on the inside of where the vehicle's rear bumper is. I discovered it last time I was fiddling with him, cause prior to then I had no idea what to do with the backpack other than to try and position it right and hope it didn't flop around too much.

I'll see if I can't take a picture of it when I get home from work.

Glad I wasn't the only one with this "problem".

If I do it just "right", something kinda locks into place... altho not very firmly. Fortunately I only display on shelves so it almost a non-issue for me.

There are TWO tabs. You do not need to mod this figure to get it to work.

The grey piece that the head is on contains a slot. In this slot is where you plug the tab from the black piece that attaches the hood to the windshield. On this very same black piece is a second slot (on the opposite side of the tab I just mentioned). In this slot is where the plug from the back of the hood goes. It all locks into place securely and puts his shoulders in the correct position.

The trick is knowing about all the tabs before you transform him. Otherwise you'll break it, like I did. :redface2:
