Insanely awesome that we have confirmation on the design and the bot. I love it. I also hope for a Volt bot, cause that car looks GREAT.

literally moments after i posted that came to mind and i went to take a look at the pic, but suddenly remembered i had Stats homework to do and forgot. thanks for pointing that out though. ooo! i hope his toy has both-flips out wheels for blading with his blades, then puts them back in to stand!

:lol  Looks like somethin for pre-schoolers to zip around the room. Good, the movie itself is likely to be too old for them and they should get in on the TF love nice and young.

i think a licensed die-cast subline of movie vehicles (non-transformable) would actually be a decent idea, especially at the same scale as like hotwheels and matchbox.

certainly a better idea then those horrible non-transforming robot action figures they did last go-round.

I don't believe the Corvette previously seen and what Pascal is now showing are the same toy. The shapes are completely different:

Good eye! I bet they're part of a set. Probably with a Hot Wheels-like track set. It's like Spychangers meets Action Masters, only with more fail.

On another note, doesn't it sort of look like his wheel-feet split in half to fold down into flat, regular walking bits? It'd be awesome of the figure letcha switch between the two modes. One for standing still, one for high-speed highway battle! =O

oh, dang you're right. That Prototype certainly looks bigger (it looks like it's intended to be a deluxe to me from the level of detail), but Fosterlager, i think they are supposed to be the the same car.

Might it be worth updating the main page newspost with this information, then?

Good point. It still confirms the design for the bot though, so either way it's good news imo. The first one is either a model car, or an extremely early prototype for the Deluxe toy, that's basically just a physical representation of the alt-mode, so they can then start to work on the bot-mode.

Either way, I'm pretty sure it will be a deluxe toy, so we know what it should look like. At least the prototype.

Well it's about god damn time some of this stuff started showing up.
I was starting to lose faith in the fandom's ability to sniff this stuff out!

    Yay for our side!

I'm rather happy to hear that the corvette, and the robot design with the swords, are the same character (never can be too certain). I liked that design, and I certainly approve of Autobots with swords. Perhaps we will be seeing a robot version of Zorro! :lol  I do hope that the wheels for feet won't affect the toy's ability to stand though. I'll be looking forward to seeing what he looks like! :D

It could be a prototype of a transforming toy, with the engraved robot mode there for the designers to remember who it is.

But yeah, it's more likely to be a cheap fast food toy.

I can already tell this is a Burger King toy. Just look at how in-articulated he is!

But this is interesting, to say the least.
