For those who don't know what I'm talking about, a character seized the Sumdac corporation from Sari, due to the missing paper trail of her existence. What I did not realize until yesterday, while watching Meltdown's intro episode, was that the SAME guy was responsible for cutting Black's funding, causing him to go on his rampage that turned him into Meltdown. So do we know anything else about this character?

There's an episode called "SUV: Society of Ultimate Villainy" in which the various human villains, presumably Angry Archer, Meltdown, Nanosec, Professor Princess, the Headmaster and more, are united by a "mysterious benefactor" against the autobots.

I'd bet my pasty nerd ass that Porter C. Powell (AKA Pink Glasses Man) is the "mysterious benefactor".

Considering PGM (or PCP... whoops) has direct or indirect connections to just about everything (helped fund Meltdown's stuff, board of directors for Sumdac - now boss man), I'll go along with him being the businessman pulling the strings behind things, possibly in cahoots with Megatron as the 'human face' fronting for some of the Decepticons' ambitions (or maybe for Starscream now that I think about it - PGM allowing Starscream to operate below the Autobots' and Megatron's radar). Then again, maybe he'll just do what he does to keep "his" company from reverting back into Sumdac family hands.

    .. or he's just a corporate dork.

That would suck. I don't consider Meltdown and Nanosec 'B' grade, they actually do pose a threat to the Autobots. The rest are just jokes. Headmaster is a B+.

I'd say it's more that he's a bit of a dick instead of outright villain, and the reason he pops up so often is because it's cheaper to reuse an existing model for minor roles than it is to go through the whole design and approval process over and over again.

He's already a human villian. Juding by how he acts and what he does, I wouldn't be surprised if he was taking orders from Megs himself.

he wont be a supervillain just a corporate villain. hence he never really takes front lines when he is up to stuff. like in the return of the headmaster ep.

I think he's already a supervillain. He's got the same powers as Lex Luthor- Super Cash and Super Corporate Connections. No one says Luthor isn't a villain.

Porter C. Powell stole forty pies. That's as much as four tens. And that's just terrible.

Chock me up as another person who is eager/curious to find out what Porter C. Powell does in future episodes of Animated. He seems like a nasty fellow, especially with his insidious control over Sumdac systems.

I'm sure PCP has some contingencies in place so that he wouldn't lose control of Sumdac Systems even now that Sumdac himself has turned up alive.

He'll be a perpetual thorn in the Autobots' sides...

No Meltdown or Headmaster. It was Nanosec, Archer, Prof Princess and Slo-Mo, IIRC (without going back to double-check). And briefly, Swindle. :p

I wonder what will happen when Sumdac comes back? That may cause him to be the bad guy.

I'm thinking one of the major plot points of season 3 will be the quest for Sumdac to get his company back from Porter and Porter's efforts to thwart said quest. Based on his characterization, Porter will be very reluctant to give up power now that he has so much.

I think it's hilarious that Fanzone all but ignores Powell whenever Powell complains to him about the Autobots - even when threats to contact the mayor are thrown around. I'm guessing after "Garbage In, Garbage Out," the mayor isn't too friendly with Powell either.

As to the OP, like others have said, I think he'll remain a Lex Luthor-type villain, only without the Kryptonite battle suit.
