I bought my Bruticus for a while but while looking at it, I just noticed his knees, 1 is fully plainted purple and the other is half painted.

I look at other pictures and its seem the same to mine. I was just wondering if its was actually done on purpose (like a reference/tribute to something) or if its was a Quality Control problem as usual.

I noticed that as well, and they are apparently all like that.

It might be intentional for whatever reason, as the image of Onslaught on the back of the back of the package is the same way - but the photo of combined Bruticus is not - hmm.

Not the feet, the knees. Mine (and the other ones at the Target that I bought it at) is like the photo of Onslaught in robot mode on the Resource page here: purple for both "Powerlinx" ports on the knees, and purple for both vaguely pentagonal shapes behind the Powerlinx ports, but only one of the half-lozenge shapes below the knee is purple.

It looks a bit odd, actually. I can't think of any reason it would have been done on purpose.

Ohhhh, you mean Onslaught's knees. Yeah, mine's like that too, only reversed (or I just have his waist backwards).

That's the fun thing about these Energon Combiners. I don't think there's really a wrong way to transform them! Just go with whatever looks best to you! :D

On topic, it looks like mine has the same issue. Looks fine to me, though...

thenatureboywoo, how did you manage to make the tanks' hands not hide the knees?

Here a better view on Bruticus/Onslaught's knees.

turn it. the plate that mounts it to the tank has a rotational joint, and so does the plate that holds the chest and arms on.
