This thread title is so Fox News. I don't think there's a single person who thought this line was a failure until seeing it and sub-consciously implanting the idea.
only complaint I see here is the qc problems wave 2 of reveal the shield has and distribution. They are all incredibly good figures, and I'm willing to say that Jazz and the new G2 prime are some of my favorite figures in a some time.
Most people I've talked to love it only negative as others have pointed out, is the availability, here in Australia wave 1 is next to impossible to find. As for Perceptor I just got the guy and absolutely love him, only wish he came with a decent rifle, I can't wait for the Reflector redeco.
Nah. Not gonna take the bait. Anyways, no RTS is not a failure. I love RTS. Except for Mindset and fallback. Those two should die in a fire.
All of those figures are great, arguably more impressive than the average pre-2008 toy. If you consider them failures just because they don't have a lot of paint, then I'm not sure how any older figure managed to meet your standards.
Personally, I absolutely love Perceptor, Jazz and Tracks, and I'm psyched with how good the motorbike of Wreck Gar looks, stick another Wreck Gar on his vehicle mode, or someone random (Cyclonus works well), and it looks bad ass. Sure, G2 Laser Prime is worse than 17 years ago, and as such won't be displayed with my Classics 'verse toys, but I'm okay with that, at least they attempted a new mold rather than repainting Bumblebee again.

I've been quite impressed with virtually all of the figures in the RtS line; the exceptions being the BB repaint (headed for Toys for Tots) and G2 Prime. Really, the only problem I have with the figures is that I haven't been able to get any of the rubsigns to actually work. Maybe I just have cold fingers or something, but even breathing on them doesn't seem to work and that usually does the trick for vintage/Reprolabels rubsigns. I finally just gave up and replaced all the rubsigns with some of the Reprolabels faction logos I have lying around.
OMG RTS ruined Transformers Forever! I love the small part of the fandom that whines like this. Entertainment!
i thought the toys looked great from the reviews. the only sad thing is that i still haven't seem them in my stores yet. i only got tracks and i still want to pick up a jazz and all the new ones that came out. i've never owned a jazz besides rotf jazz so i look forward to these cool toys

this line has its up and down the two pack i got from target that hot rod is crap i return it twice and still have the same problem with him the ball joints r to will put this way the arms just fall off it suck cause its my first but can u do just glue it right. and for the others there ok but some unfinish paint sucks but i guess u can just do it ur self but can i say
