Hey guys. I really want to get an MP-04. TFSource has 'em for 220 bones right now. Found a few on fleabay as well. Should I nab one now or is there a chance we might see another production run of MP-04?

Another production run of MP-04 won't mean lower pricing; I say grab it now.

Yeah that's the standard price. A new wave won't change anything, unfortunately. I'd say pick it up now if you can afford it. I did. It's sweet.

It will give him a chance to get it at the price of 18000 yen instead of 220-240 USD it goes for now, before shipping. Although it might mean using an already worn mould...again.

If you have the money go for it. Its the best in the Masterpiece line Imo. Of course Grimlock could change all of that.

Actually, 18000 yen is $200+ now, because the dollar got very weak recently compared to the yen. And that's before shipping, which you or your US retailer would have to pay, and if the retailer pays it, then he will pass it on to you anyway. So, assuming the dollar remains where it is, you're looking at a retail price of $250 ~ $300 if these are re-released...

I need to pick up an MP-04 but with an MP-01 already it just kills me to spend that much on a figure I already have.

If all you're missing is the trailer, get the Justoys one. IMO, it looks much better than the MP-04 trailer from the outside (although it lacks the fold-out struts). The rear wheels section matches a lot better, and the stripe that runs along the trailer is actually more blue than white. The deck that MP-04 transforms into isn't very well executed.

I'd like to ask a question regarding this topic. What's the best online retailer to buy MP-04 from? TFSource sells it for a cheaper price than BBTS, but I have found an even cheaper one from RobotKingdom. Has anyone here purchased anything from RobotKingdom before? I'd like to know if they are a reliable site to order from.

Keep in mind robotkingdom is overseas, so shipping might be a lot depending on the carrier. If you can find an MP-04 for $220-230 shipped, get it. Otherwise, try to get it as close as possible.

Thank you for the quick replies. Looks like I will end up picking it up from either TFSource or RobotKingdom. I've tried searching for one on EBay, but the shipping charges from overseas are really high.
