I wanted to know if MP Skywarp is coming to the states? Otherwise I'll buy one now while they are still resonable.

I haven't heard anything, so I'll say no. I have been wrong before (numerous times), but numerous things have lead me to that conclusion

Its hard to say at this point. MP Screamer sold pretty well here from what I could tell so Hasbro may consider it. It's a good question to ask at Botcon. However, the figure is totally awesome and IMO, beats the Screamer paintjob. I'd say pick up the Takara one anyways. The figure along with the box are worth it!

Maybe Hasbro will surprise us at Botcon and have Skywarp for Sale there.

I just picked up a custom G1 style custom repaint for reasonably less then a Takara. I really need to stop spending money on this stuff :)

somebody tried to cheat the system by ordering it from site to store then returning it, but someone found it first lol

it was in a thread labeled like deal of the century here in the toyark

Not at the moment, but Hasbro could certainly release a recolor of Masterpiece Starscream.

Isn't Thundercracker more popular than Skywarp in America, at any rate? Who would bother calculating such a statistic? There was a poll in Japan that featured Skywarp ranking high in popularity above Thundercracker, but we seem to get more Thundercrackers here.

I would love to get one of the mold... can't really afford more than that. But Skywarp really looks infinitely cooler than Starscream, despite being the less-loved character.

I remember showing my collection to my girlfriend (who LOVES purple... I'd say it's a little odd, but then, I collect toys, so I don't really have a leg to stand on as far as that goes) and pulling out my Classics Skywarp... she said "Oooooooh" and grabbed him. I've never seen a non-Transformers-fan transform a piece of my collection so fast and perfectly. Off-topic... she REALLY wants to find the concept Camaro Bumblebee (about as much as I do)... We're going to have to get two so we can figure it out together.

I would look for one next year probably another store exclusive. Maybe skywarp, maybe thundercracker.

Hasbro's missing a huge marketing opportunity here. MP Starscream sold pretty well as a Walmart exclusive, they need to do Thundercracker as a Target exclusive, wait a few months, then Skywarp at Toys R Us. I'd buy them up in a heartbeat.

Knowing how the masses would love to have this toy, I'm willing to bet it'll be at Botcon 08 for $300.

MP Prime was released twice. I agree that this is a great question to ask at Botcon. I don't want to pay $100+ for it online.
