Hi all, been trying to find a reivew or pics to find out if the MP-9B Black Rodimus Convoy is a version 1 or version 2 recolor of the original Rodimus?

    Thanks!

Probably the first version, since it comes with the trailer..

But that's just a guess. Good question.

I'll know for certain in about a week's time; I just shipped mine from BBTS. It has to be version 2 though. The first version of that mold is utter shit and I can't imagine Takara would use it again.

I can only assume the question is in regards to revisions Takara made to the mold, not the presence of the trailer/

Whatever the price, three times with that mold was enough for me.

I'm talking about the version of the mold of the one with the trailer. The first version didn't receive good reviews. The second version corrected most if not all the issues. With that in mind, I'm trying to find out which was used for the black repaint.

I would assume it will be version 2. I do not see why they would make it from the v1 mold after all the problems.

Ive had this since release and I can tell you that it is definately ver 2, when I see reviews of the backpack on ver 1 not tabbing correctly this black ver has no problem. The shins also feel very sturdy and everything locks in really good.

V2 came out before this, so it makes sense it would be V2.

Well I don't think (atleast IMO) we will see it sell out lightning fast, so you should have time to save up some cash. I am hoping to save up some cash for it, but there are too many expensive things out there to buy right now.

My only gripe with first version is the paint scratching off when connecting the trailer so I just left the trailer in the box :p  Thanks to other peoples demise :p
