I don't see why it really matters- $60 from one scalper purchasing 6 Jazzes is equivalent to the $60 from 6 children purchasing 1 Jazz each.

What incentive do the stores have to enforce purchasing limits?

Scalpers should only be allowed to buy more than the limit when toys are on clearance.

I went to my Target and there were 8-10 jazz re-paints. I didn't even buy one but they look cool.

Australia, Singapore and the UK has received more exclusives than Europe, yeah. Still doesn't rule out the G1 repaints appearing somewhere else in the world, whether an exclusive to a foreign chain or not.

 

The Target I went to Saturday had 3 cases of Starscream and I called another the night before that was a little further away and they had 4 cases of Starscream. It is possible that there are only 7000 but that number seems a little low to me. We will probably never know anyway.

 

So, um...have either of these toys been spotted in the eastern US, or are we going to have to wait two months from never, just like with everything else? :/

 

No, Hoolagrin picked some up from VA, and seeing as one of those Starscreams is sitting on my desk shelf now... I'd say I'm not imagining things.

 

I haven't seen anything of these two in VA. I have recently seen Leader Brawl and Voyager Megatron, so new stuff is slowly making it's way in...

 

I have both and I'm in Georgia so yes. If you are having a hard time finding them check Target.com and get the phone numbers to all the Targets around you and call all of them the day before you plan on going. I got both of mine by calling and giving customer service the DPCI numbers. The nearest Target to me is 70+ miles so it is easier for me to call than to go to the store and look. In case you don't have them I will list them below.

well here in Houston Target has open up several new stores there aren't any signs anywhere limiting purchase at all. I haven't seen any even in the old stores.

 

Depends on the store really. Just like the collectible policy for checking in the back, some store enforce it, some don't. I try to partner with the front end managers to inform the cashiers to limit the sale of exclusives to 2 per guest.

 

Just FYI - I've seen these in excess around the DC area.

They have also been spotted at no less than 3 targets in South Jersey with another 2 confirmed to be have them in stock, but not on the shelves. I've bought one of each for myself and shipped a couple to board members in the UK.

 

all four targets in my area (buffalo, ny) dont have them out. they havent even put them on the floor.

you need to ask for them. thats what i did. they brought out the boxes and let me have my pick.
