I think he's a homage to a G1 micromaster (though I could be wrong). I personally don't like the mold (wasn't a big fan of lockdown, either) but he has his fans.

It's a modern version of a G1 Action Master. I love the mold and have both versions of it in my collection. I need to fiddle around with him again.

Axor is a nice homage to his G1 self.
He even has a remolded head, which makes him even more sought after.

Don't have him (didn't like the color) but I do have Lockdown, and he's pretty amazing. If nothing else he's HUGELY tall, easily compares to most voyagers in height. Its a great mold, if you don't have him.

Overall he is a great figure, but mine still has the problem with the arm popping off just like Lockdown.

I like Lockdown but not Axor, personally.

I wanted to get him for the same reason of putting him into Classics but felt that the mold suits Lockdown a lot more.

I had him and sold him pretty quickly after opening him. I just didn't like the "feel" of him and I didn't really like the way he fit in with the Classics. There are very few movie guys that can pull that off...

I wouldn't have problem with him among my decepticons, but I already have Lockdown and Axor is just an inferior deco and remold.

He's pretty cool, and I sort of like him better than Lockdown, even though he has the same problems Lockdown has. Anyway the mold itself is pretty good!

I bought him due to being a G1 homage and with the intent of having him with my classics but even though I can accept Voyager Seaspray (even have Seasprays repaint as Waverider), Bludgeon and few more I have a hard time accepting this toy as a classics.

I personally like him even more than lockdown, he is VERY tall and has great articulation, which makes him very fun to pose/play with. Plus he is the traditional decepticon blu/silver/purple colors, and has a freakin sweet head. Check out my sig, he is a must have.

I believe I have come around with my opinion toward about Axor, and now I think I want to get him. I really need to bolster my Decepticons, and this would fit the bill nicely. I already have Lockdown and love him, I just wonder if it's worth it to give him a partner.

Lockdown's ROTF toy is actually the official toy of G1 Lockdown, so make of that what you will.

Axor's equally awesome, and his head may fit in a bit better with the Classics aesthetic.

I like the Lockdown/Axor mold quite alot myself. I have Lockdown in the employ of Megatron, and Axor hunts for Galvatron. He looks really good with Galvy, Cyclonus and Scourge/Sweeps. Totally recommend picking him up.
