Worth is highly subjective - I wouldn't even buy a KO of that turd. Just an awful, awful set of TFs IMO.

That's funny, but seriously is this going to sell or is someone hoping for an impulse buy?

Probable overpricing aside, the vendor is a great guy whom I've very satisfactorily done business with before.

Yeah he's a pretty cool person to deal with. Also, looking at past auctions for a complete set the average was $340.49, so his auction is about $160 overpriced.

That's a Dinoking price, but if he gets an impulse buyer, more power to him. I wouldn't go over $50 for any one Pretender Monster and $300 for Monstructor.

One of few sellers I always remember to avoid, messed me around with excuses for three weeks before admitting he'd sold one of the things I'd bought elsewhere.

I pieced mine together too, Monstructor and most of late G1 generally. I'm not sure what all I spent to get mine, but it was a fun couple of years' hunt at the Botcon parts parties and a couple of scores at a local shop!

He tries to charge thirtytwo bucks for a Race Car Patrol, duuuh.. Although overcharging isn't his biggest problem - he won't admit to his mistakes. I bought a G1 Rampage which he never shipped out. How do I know this? Because he had only notified USPS that he had a package waiting to be shipped, they never received it from him. He then insisted of giving me my money back when the deadline for filling a acclaim had run out. He was just a hassle, got my money back from paypal though.

I pieced together a Monstructor last year for about $300... the combiner parts are damn expensive. Luckily, I found a complete set for $125 later, so I sold the pieced together one for $300.

I've dealt with this seller before as well. Good to deal with, but overpriced.

    $300??

Well, I must be out of touch because the last time I ever tried looking up for a Monstructor on eBay, (Completed Listing) I saw a BOUGHT auction for USD $425.

And that particular auction had been on eBay for the longest period of time. (Maybe as old as George Lucas! :lol )

I checked the most recent complete Monstructor listings and they ended for $330.99 & $350 which comes to the average of $340.45

I guess I got my answer.
Looks like I won't be buying this until I win the lottery.
