Some of the garage companies are technically licensed to sell their goods at shows. They acquire a one/two day license to sell their product and can only sell their kits/toys/whatever at that time, legally.

Basically, it's only official if it carries the real Transformers logos.

But even then that can be a bit dodgy, as seen by the proliferation of high quality knock off G1 toys that have packaging that are very, very close to the real thing.

Yes, I slept off these 2.

My mind's filled with third party vendors whenever an issue like this gets brought to light.

That's a bit different as Kabaya's a food company, which sell candies that come with little collectible toys. More or less the same concept as those TF Animated fruit snacks or motorized lollipop holders or PEZ dispensers.

They don't specifically make toys, as what I assumed this thread implies.

That's quite obviously licensed. Kaiyodo doesnt steal other people's IP.

the licensing agreement for revoltech seemed to be a bit different than usual, as revoltech joints showed up in the 2007 movie's robot replica line.

Oh no, I understand that. I was more or less adding their name to the list, with a question mark for added sarcasm:D
