I don't think it counts as pre-ordering if he's been out for the better part of a year. But yeah, he's still in stock at enough places that waiting to hear details on the Hasbro version is worthwhile.

^ for just a second, i thought this was a zombie thread and then the date of the OP threw me for a loop.
add to it all these bowl games making me think it is always saturday...can you see how my year starts off wonky?

but yeah, He's still easy to find and possibly for a good price. If we get an American version, I may get that one. save a few nickels.

Exactly what I am doing as I think the Hasbro version will be worth it to wait.

Expect a price more like MP Prime, at least at first. I'm sure they'll be shelfwarmers clearanced out for 50 at some point eventually, if you don't mind a beat-up box.

He may shelfwarm in a few places, but I expect MP Grimlock will sell out in many stores like Starscream did.

Skywarp isn't selling out because he's not an iconic character. I already got the Takara version of him thinking Hasbro wouldn't release it here. I figure I'm not the only one who regretted not holding off on getting him.

i think grimlock will be more than even skywarp.

skywarp, unlike grimlock, has no chrome or diecast.

    Remember Grimlock has electronics too.

Skywarp & Thundercracker retailed for $100 in Japan while Grimlock was $130.
