    It seems to me that stocking canned foods and building a shelter is a waste of time against an asteroid collision. And if you're going to waste time, it's better wasted lounging in a fold-up chair up on the roof with some tequila to watch the awesome light show when it impacts Earth.

    Oh, lol!

    Would be pretty interesting. Fighting off giant mutants IRL might suck, though....

    Don't stock up on canned goods, stock up on bullets and body armor and just take whatever canned goods you need from other survivors who hoarded them.
