I read somewhere(can't remember where)that you can combine Tidal Wave with the smaller scale Energon Megatron(TRU Exclusive version). Is it really possible? Has anyone ever attempted it? Does anyone have any pics of those two combined?

I've never heard about that. I just picked up both of those for a whole $7. Have to see if it works. Seems like it might work with the two pieces that connect to the arms. The back piece might be an issue

Actually according to TFwiki.net you can combine Tidal Waves' arms with Cybertron Megs/Galvs due to the fact that the same arm plug joint used on Tidal Wave initially was also used on Leobreaker years later. And since the CYb/ Megs/Galvs mold combines with Leo it can combine with Tidal Wave as well Tidal Wave (Armada) - Transformers Wiki

I believe there's also a third figure that can combine with Armada Galvatron. Hasbro even had official instructions but never released them. For the life of me I can't remember who it was though.

EDIT: Found the blurb. Now to find the instructions.

EDIT 2: Ah, the power of searching. Not Hasbro, but still semi-official? I mean, the mold was retooled.

EDIT 3: Ah my bad, you were talking about Energon Megatron not Armada. Please ignore all my posts.

The smaller Energon Megatron's arms are the correct size to fit into the C clamps on the back of Tidal Wave's arm attachments. The wings on Megatron's back make it hard if not impossible to attach the third vehicle in any meaningful way.

That's what I figured with the whole C Clamps thing. I've been google searching to see if I can find a pic, but no avail :(
