Is it possible for them to add in vehicl e abilities?

    The demand seems high enough, and something like nitro boost hardly seems over powered. if some asshole hackers could do it, I'm sure highmoon could.

    Nitro boost is too unfair I think, especially with Titans and Destroyers being slow. The original WFC ones are decent, except for the Soldier class one which sucks.

    Technically possible? Sure. Possible with regard to maintaining competitive balance? Probably not. I know, people on the "bring abilities back" side of the argument are probably tired of hearing about competitive balance, but people on the other side are probably tired of hearing people request that abilities be returned.

    For what it's worth, the probable reason for the removal of vehicle abilities is because most of them are geared toward evasion, and now every class has a dash and sprint that serve much the same purpose. As for trucks losing the ram/boost ability, that probably has to do with the Destroyer now being a more ordnance-based class that's supposed to have lessened close-quarters/direct contact capabilities in exchange for more powerful weapons with increased splash damage.

    I love the WFC vehicle abilities, even the solider class's 180 spin move, and PLEAD & BEG HM for their return to multiplayer. I can't for the life of me see how any of them cause a balancing issue.

    I really REALLY miss leader class's ram ability though. I have a John Wayne style of play, meaning I charge into the middle of a bunch enemies and take as many out as I can before I die. That ram ability was a big part of my Conquest strategy. I'd always use the ram whenever I charged into an enemy crowd around the next node I was trying to capture. And the Solider class's 180 allowed me to guard multiple entry ways while I capturing a node.

    HIGH MOON PLEASE BRING BACK VEHICLE ABILITIES!!

    I'd also like to see vehicles abilities back in multiplayer. It's one of those things you don't miss until they're gone >_>

    I was looking back and saw Starscream do a barrel roll in a gameplay video. I think that they should add them back since I miss being able to roll my Infiltrator/Scout in the air when I jump.

    Maybe they're in, we don't know until we play the full game. Vortex has dodge doesn't he? Bumblebee has Nitro. Who knows.

    I don't think we really need vehicle abilities. I don't think they'll do much good in this game.

    No they're not in. And HMS is only considering barrel roll at the moment.

    Barrel roll wouldn't be needed, i mean you move fast enough as it is. Unless you're hovering, then you're screwed ._.

    Vehicles need to do more. The rolls and dodges added to robot mode instead just makes robot mode even more viable than it was before...which is ******ed.

    Vehicle abilities need to return. They add flavor AND functionality to the characters. As it is now, there's very little reason to stay in vehicle form. The lighter classes benefit from the speed, but the heavier ones suffer a massive drop in maneuverability and function.

    Barrel roll, turbo, 180 and ram simply bring vehicle mode on par with robot form, nothing else. The whole draw that Tieger referred to was choice. Being able to choose your form and fight how you want. The choice is still there, but the appeal is gone.

    But that was an ability in the SP. It would be much harder to implement the slot for the abilities to go in to be useable, they'd have to have the basic programming files to implement the use of an ability in vehicle mode.

    Where did you hear that? I hope they do bring it in. Its really difficult otherwise to evade whilst hovering unless you transform and fall...
