Basically what the title says. I was thinking about getting him and parts-swapping with RiD Hot shot, so that Hot Shot can have some yellow parts.

I'm looking at possibly switching Hot Shot's blue limbs with Bee's yellow ones, but keeping the car parts the same so that Hot Shot's car mode stays blue.

If you put the arms from BB onto Hot Shot, you're gonna have yellow on the bottoms of the doors in car mode. And the arms are pinned on to the wheels.

bringing back the thread because my question is very similar.

I'm taking apart Bumblebee to do a full repaint. Any of you people out there with painting experience tackled taking this thing apart yet, or is there a way to cover all the yellow without taking it apart? Looks tricking getting in between the layers on the chest/car hood. (I'll be leaving the grey parts grey)

And some of the pins don't even have an accessible other end to hit them out from.

Also, would you take the wheels off to get inside the wheel wells?

The chest isn't hard to take apart, but the shoulders would be a pain.
