I bought online a complete G1 slugfest & overkill for $25, any opinion?
VERY nice job, if they're in good condition.
yup complete with techspec
Not sure why you're asking since you already know it was a good deal.
Well, there's the possibility that he wasn't certain whether or not that was a good deal and decided to post the question to the public.
I think it's a good deal. Nice price for more than 1 G1 in that condition.
well I'm just starting to collect G1, so I don't know any good value of those figures.
I just have a feeling that somewhere it probably cheaper
Got any pics of them? That might help us figure out if $25 was a good deal or a ripoff.
I mean, are they totally trashed or do they look great?
Sounds like a great deal to me...if you bought them off eBay post the link to the auction.
Bah, he's just bragging...
Like that one jerk who's always posting his flea market finds... If I ever see him, I'm gonna kick his a$$!
well here are they
from the pic, it probably still a good contidion
Both weapons for each dude, pair of tech specs to go with them, paint looks good...
Yeah, I'd say $25 is fair. Maybe a bit on the expensive side, but not so much that you should be lamenting the loss of your money. Looks like a nice find to me!
ok, I can rest easy now.....
Do any of you know where I can find price guide for G1 figures?
& which one do you guys recommend in buying a good price?
Buying a complete figure with accessories or buying loose figure and accessories seperate
Price Guides: There is no single, one-size-fits-all price guide. Your best bet is to look at the buy/sell/trade forums here, on other transformers sites and on Ebay and compare prices for a particular item for which you're searching.
Buying figures: In my opinion, it's much easier to pick up a complete figure than to pick up something loose and spend months & years trying to collect the accessories. On top of that, some people make a real racket selling accessories for like $2-$5 a pop, just because they know you might need it.
Buy complete, even if it's a few dollars more. It's sooo worth it to avoid the hassle of completing figures.
Fair? That's a killer deal man. 2 vintage/complete/excellent condition tapes for only $25, that's a steal. And it's not like he got the 2 most common tapes around.
The only price guide I use is completed auctions on Ebay. nothing else is worth the paper it's printed on.
Uh...okay. It's a super deal.
I also reconsider this
But it have to wait, as I already spend so much on G1 and movie figures...
Hey, btw, I just got your RM-03 Ligier. THAT was a good deal. At least for me.
Yeah what's that chump's name?, Krower or something?
Separate names with a comma.
