I wanted to know if he was cancelled. I really wanted him because I thought he would make a decent Roadbuster with a new head. Plus it's FE Bulkhead's mold, so it's even better? Any news?

Not cancelled, just so far not scheduled to be released in the US.

Any idea when it will be released, regardless of where?

I'm guessing that TRU passed on him because of how similar he is to FE Bulkhead.

But we got a Fallback, in deluxe size!

And Brawn being one of the largest toys now doesn't make sense when he's "the smallest but strongest" guy.

Who says Generations Brawn is the same Guy any more than Breakdown is the same guy as The Stunticon or Bulkhead isn't the same guy who's in Energon..

Regardless what the box says I'd consider him a Prime toy and just another off-camera character like Arms Micron Swerve and Skywarp.

G1 Brawn might be a modest sized bot - but that does not mean that the Prime Universe one has to be.

Besides I think a lot of people idea of Minibots being tiny is coloured by the toys - thinking rationally about it there's no reason they should be much different in size from the likes of G1 Arcee - it's just because they had tiny toys people think they must be tiny robots. sure an aspect of that will always leak into the fiction or comics.

But when you think about it - is it really the case that every tiny toy is really a tiny character ?
A good example is Actionmaster Devastator ; who is much larger than Optimus Prime but the toys are the same size. Personally I'm quite happy with the NEST Brawn or any third party ones. so I not see the need to see Generation Brawn as some sort of Classics toy. He does seem to fit best with the other Prime toys.
Shame his head is so tiny though.
