Lawls not many collector's would be able to pay $20,000 for it or have a three story warehouse to store it in. ;)

What? Darkmount (mobile artillery) and Perceptor (half-track truck) aren't tanks.

Yes but I doubt it'll be in generations, RTS was a subline that was just used to tide people over until the movie line came out.

No, we don't. Hasbro/Takara haven't frequently redecoed Megatron toys into Galvatron since the end of the Unicron Trilogy.

Because I think the already released version looks like crap. If I was asking for another Optimus I could see your point, but there has yet to be a really G1 accurate Galvatron released. Cyclonus and Scourge look awesome. I just want an awesome Galvatron to go with them.

I like the idea of a new Galvatron. I consider the Universe Galvatron to be Galvatron II.

Transformers isn't Star Wars. We don't have a shot at about two hundred figures a year in a single size class. We don't have a reissue line (though we should) for deluxes. When Hasbro miffed on their Jedi Luke, they did one right the following year. We don't have as many slots in Transformers for that kind of mold correction.

Get me a Hoist and Trailbreaker and Omnibots! (Man I sound like Adamthered!)

I hope once the movie hype dies down they start making different size classes for classics again. Galvatron needs to at least be a Voyager.

Honestly, is there a more :horse: :deadhorse:  subject than this in the fandom?
(Personally, I ask questions about a new Galvatron mold every Hasbro Q/A)

or bring back ultra class unless thats leader class? either way a voyager sized galvy who looks like the IDW design and can turn into a mobile particle cannon and not a tank is A-O-K to me, but i agree it might be a :deadhorse:  issue and i'm a slagging huge galvy follower *shrug*

you do? what do you ask and what do they tell you?

They'd probably the market the canon as a tank anyways.

Couldn't care less about those. What I do care about, however, is that Hasbro made "too many tanks", but two of them were CD Scattorshot redecoes.

And remember, Galvatron was in Wave 2 of Universe. Dropshot was a very unnecessary toy, that could have been dropped. But what other tanks were they talking about having "too many" of at the time? Brawl? Seriously, what other tanks were there during the time of Galvatron's design and release?

    1) Bludgeon came out in 2009. Warpath came out in 2011. They didn't say "We won't make any more tanks EVER". They were referring to the relative time period when the toy came out.

    2) Hasbro didn't do Frenzy (yet).

    3) Darkmount is a half-track. Perceptor is a science exploration vehicle. Just because he has treads doesn't make him a "tank".

So would you like to take a shot at the question I posed in my last post?
