I have recently failed in an attempt to acuire a Galaxy Shuttle from a member here due to the fact that my Grandmother was not willing to spend that much for a Christmas present. So, I want to know, how possible would it be for me to get a Galaxy Shuttle? I did recently obtain a Road Fire from a member here after all. But what about Galaxy Shuttle? Can I ever get him for my collection?
eBay, Want add, see if a Japan based seller, like say Bodhar2000, can help you. If the issue is $$$ You'll need to be very quick and very lucky to get a Galaxy Shuttle below the going rate.
Stalk Ebay and the Junkion pages relentlessly for a good deal, go to Japan and hit the second-hand toy robot emporiums, go to BotCon or make enough money at your place of employment that you can spend silly amounts of money on vintage Japanese toy robot goodness and not have to worry about the mortgage. EDIT: This did seem like a great price: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rt=nc&nma=true&item=330491356212&si=rZERroQPG50v3Q346%252F2%252F0%252BlsjSo%253D&viewitem=
I suppose I could give a want ad a try. Still though, who knows when or if anyone will answer. Would Bodhar2000 be able to get me one if I asked him? Like if I sent him a PM and said "Any chance you could get me a Galaxy Shuttle for a decent price?" would he do that?
My best recommendation is to save up a lot of money and be ready to spend it in a snap. The last galaxy shuttle MIB when for around $700-900 (don't remember but think that's the range). He is super uncommon and you really need to be patience to get him. Took me 8 months to finally get mine. If you're not willing to drop that much money for him, then I would suggest you to just get the KO version. There's several version out there for very reasonable price. think they go for around $20-80. Good luck.
Hell, if you live in Japan, just search yahoo japan. This was the last KO galaxy shuttle on there. Ended for around 13000 yen. ¥È¥é¥ó¥¹¥Õ¥©¡¼¥Þ¡¼ ¥®¥ã¥é¥¯¥·¡¼¥·¥ã¥È¥ëÉ÷ ´Ú¹ñÆæTOY - Yahoo!¥ª¡¼¥¯¥·¥ç¥ó
Hell yes it is. So, so jealous, I am. On that note: Aren't some parts of Hong Kong pretty good for vintage toy robots as well?
Any Transformers item is attainable. It's all a case of finding the right deal, which just needs a whole lot of patience, and some money saved away for when the time comes. It can take some of us years to find that one toy - and believe me, it's so much sweeter when you finally do get that one toy after all the patient waiting *smiles at his Metalhawk and Roadfire*
isnt armada jetfire meant to be a homaage character to galaxy shuttle? that and the monster sized shuttles from armmeggedon?
This is very true. I actually have an Ebay thing going right now that fits that category. I hope I can actually win it. I seem to get sniped so often on there.
I think that's one of the higher quality KO which is actually rare. There are cheaper ones that come on cardback that were quite common 4 years ago but I haven't seem them lately. But again, I'm not actively looking for them either. You can find a galaxy shuttle loose for very cheap if you do it right but it will take 2-4 years. That's how I got my second one...
I don't want one of those knock offs. I hate those things. Well, I guess I can afford to wait a few years for Galaxy Shuttle. I just gotta keep looking for him as best as a can. In the meantime, I'll keep collecting everyone else while saving up some cash. By the time I find a Galaxy Shuttle and can afford him, I may be done collecting all the others and Galaxy Shuttle will probaly be all I need to finish my collection.
Yes sensei. I shall bring honor to all Transformers fans and otakus. Even if it takes the rest of my life.
