It's pretty sad when Hasbro can't even make up their minds. Lol. Frenzy is red, Rumble blue. At least that's what the cartoon tells me.

 

I guess you could say Hasbro went back and forth on the name.

 

Since I saw G1, Rumble will always be blue for me, and Frenzy red. Finito. But I never ever would start a war over this. lol

I think, this discussion will not end until Hasbro makes a poll and let the fans decide what they want. ; )

I vote the blue one as Barry Kozlowski, and the red one as Larry Kozlowski, since they are twins.

I have no clue as to what might be the correct answer, but in my personal universe, I consider Rumble to be blue, and Frenzy to be red soley due to the cartoon.

 

I can't believe 60+% of fans can get this one wrong.

 

There is no right or wrong answer, there is only personal preference.

 

I thought the two answers were "This is what I choose. I don't care what anyone says." and "You're free to think whatever you want, but LET ME EXPLAIN AT LENGTH WHY YOU'RE WRONG!!"

I love this goddamn debate. Always thought Frenzy was Blue and Rumble was Red. But they're both so boring that they're interchangeable ��

Cartoon says Rumble is blue, so that Is what i'm going with - event though the toy package said the blue guy is Frenzy. The character I met first was the cartoon character, therefore Rumble is blue.

 

Frenzy and Rumble each have colour changing paint, and deliberately change their colours to those of the other to mess people up

(Rumble's been red more than he's been blue and Frenzy's been blue more than red, so that's what I stick with, cartoon be damned)

 

I always find it amusing that people who go with FIRRIB go on to explain that it's because of the Sunbow cartoon.

As if there's some where else that preference would come from. The full bios, the toys, the series bible, the comics, etc. are all FIBRIR. Sunbow only had the wrong way due to a mistake (again the series bible and all the other material prove that it was a mistake and it happened somewhat late), otherwise it wouldn't even be an issue.

 

I like how people who choose Rumble is blue just say 'Rumble is blue to me because I watched the cartoons'. Rumble is red supporters tend to reply with. 'WTF youre all idiots, rumble is red you know nothing, they screwed up in the cartoons and this is a stupid argument because you are all wrong and stupid'

Really though, It's what ever you grew up with. Hasbro retconning it after with the TF bible is great and all and one to them is correct but ultimately TF fans of the cartoon probably had a 20 year notion that Rumble is blue. It's a hard change that no matter how much people tell you that it's wrong.

 

Rumble is blue because a guy named "Frenzy" should be red. We normally assoiciate violence, anger other like tendencies with the color red while calming things are normally associated with the color blue
