I saw FAB Brawl at Target and it looked much bigger than the deluxe version. Anyone have comparison shots? Not sure if I should pick it up or not.

    Thanks!

Side by side with other Movie TF's in robot mode, FAB is gonna look really out of place, with its almost SD styled body.

If you want to display, I'd go with real Brawl, or just wait for Leader class Brawl.

Deluxe Brawl is sweet, so much going on for such a small toy.(makes him undersized) Only thing that almost kills it for me is his bad shoulder pegs thay don't want to stay, causing his arms to just hang unpegged. It's frustrating

That said, many forum members have come up with solutions to this, including nail-polish/superglue in the peg hole to make it smaller, and just pushing the pegs in really-really hard.

FAB Brawl is one of the only ones I've dug enough to even think about getting. But not that much, and combined with him being a non-completist line for me plus money considerations, I'm counting on him ending up in clearance sooner or later.

They are both good figures - it's hard to define one as categorically "better" than the other.

Deluxe Brawl has greater articulation, and allows posing the tank cannon barrel as an arm-cannon. Downsides are relatively small stature, unpainted minesweeper claws and the infamous shoulder-peg issue.

FAB Brawl is a bit bigger in both modes, and has better paint apps (ironically). Downsides are a relatively limited range of movement, which is particulary vexing with the arms, and a "parts-forming" step in his conversion (the upper turret detaches from the top of the main turret in tank mode and reattaches to a peg on the robot's back - makes him look more movie-accurate, but I am against parts-forming on principle).

You kidding? FAB Brawl fits right in with the other Movie TFs.

Now I've realised that the turret flaps actually close to hold the shoulders in place, I like Deluxe BRAWLASTATOR a lot more than I did when I first encountered the 'flaw'.

I quite fancy that FAB version, but Deluxe will do until Leader turns up (who will just rock the toy shelf so much!)
