Whatever name they get released under (TFC, Encore, 2010, etc.), G1 reissues are ALWAYS welcomed. Funny how as per the info from this thread we got another run of some (Primus, Predaking, Henkei Hound & Convoy, Cyclonus in the BIS pack) but not others (SIXSHOT where you at?!?!?!?!?!?) +1
I really thought the whole encore thing was to give the fans what they wanted. I am sorry, but my complete G2 devy and my close to complete G1 devy are fine for me. With the rumor bandwagon playing on the Trypticons, Sixshots, Dinobots, Scorpys, and Ft. Maxs, I cant help but wonder what the point of the encore line is, if what's put out is not what majority of fans want. Ya' know?
Because, of course, every single person in the world has the exact same collection as you and shares the exact same outlook. You, well nobody, can not, ever, in any way, dictate what "most fans" want. So don't even try. Frankly, I'm thrilled at the chance at owning a non-KO G1 Devy, and all the others you mentioned. I still need to get my shit together and grab Sky-Lynx and Trailbreaker. >:I
I don't have a Devastator... And according to an insider, they are not even considering Star Saber and Victory Leo, so I guess we won't be seeing any big Transformer.
Dude, that was kinda snarky. I am happy for those that will have the opportunity to own a minty Devastator. But I was actually referring to some of the previous posts, to which I agree. My statement was more rhetorical in nature, a fanboy whine, if you want. I do understand that they are working off a business model that that will give the highest yield of a product. And this is a damn shame.

I like how Scantron basically threw the BS flag on this, and Nevermore backed him up by quoting, yet when Curamen was indeed right not even an attempt at an apology. I love this site sometimes.
Well, sorry for not checking/noticing this thread in the ~12 hours since it was bumped back up, ~7 of which I was asleep and ~1 of which I was commuting to work. I'll be sure to be more prompt in the future and schedule my life around this site, since apparently people are going to get butthurt if I don't respond to posts in an amount of time they deem appropriate. Anyway. I think it's really cool that we're seeing more Encore reissues and I certainly did not expect something like Devastator, at least not before a reuse of the Prime mold, the Seekers and a few others we've seen before. My skepticism came from at least a year of threads with various people saying "new awesome Encore stuff soon, he tell me" and nothing coming of it. Because anyone can drop vague hints and claim to have 'sources'. For future reference, I'll definitely be sure to give credence to information from CURAMEN, as this has proven he either is a source, or has a source, with some validity.
Well after seein this new encor of devy I don't think it is right now. Lets just hope that we could 1 day get a Fort Max out of this encore series.
You are somehow the "majority of fans" now???? So by that reckoning, all the rare G1 TFs (inc. all the Dinobots) I have should never be reissued because... you know, I have them, so why the heck is TakTom wasting its time not fulfilling my every desire? It's not like there are other people beside me that collect Transformers are there!?! I'm not so surprised that's there's another reissue, but I AM surprised it's going to be numbered Encore #20. I thought that particular line was dead - I expected any subsequent reissue to be like the Predaking one, an "unnumbered special" as it were.
Devastator! Awesome news man, good call! I'm in for a few Devastators, always loved his character and the toy. Hope that we see more of these on a more regular release schedule, that would be awesome.
On a much lighter note, this IS actually a GOOD thing to be wrong about, you have to admit! MORE ENCORES!!! DEVS IS ALREADY PRE-ORDERED!! wooohooo!!
