I was going to buy it but I keep hearing negative stuff about it like mold degeneration/deteriorate which I don't know what is that...

I am actually not buying for me but for my brother who his 2nd favorite is G1 Bruticus. Which I thought would had a been nice gift because he only have Swindle during the G1 time when he was a kid.

Whilst Encore Bruticus does have some issues with some rough parts, and some flash (pieces of plastic not trimmed off when the parts are removed from their sprue), he's nowhere near as bad as some folk have made out.

I've got the majority of the various Brutici, including a load of KO's. Encore is easily better quality than the KO's. He's not perfect, but it's a great price for a combiner giftset, your brother will love it (and you for buying him it).

I stickered him up a couple of days ago, great fun :D

some normally smooth parts are a little rough in looks, not fragile, and i cannot comment on the difficulty of combining him,

Yeah, slightly roughly finished, there are pics of the bottom of Onslaught's feet that illustrate this. Have a look in the feedback thread for him.

The individual bots, and combined as Bruticus are all sturdy. Bruticus fits together well, none of the floppiness of KO's or loose vintage.

I have no problems with my Encore Bruticus. No rough edges, combined mode is solid and individual figures are solid. It is worth the pick-up.

Another question, beside the Encore Bruticus, has there been any other re-issue of G1 Bruticus?
