wHY Haven't we seen any vehicles during filming? NOne!
This makes me skeptical about his appearance, but if he does show up I really hope Bonecrusher will be making a return, as the bulldozR truck.

Pictures/video didn't leak out from site every day during filming, just occasionally. Just because the public didn't see them doesn't mean anything.

They're in the sequel. No need to worry.

plus the trucks may be 100% CGI. ive heard that the REEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY big one for Long Haul would cost $6 million per day or something like that, so i wouldnt be surprised a bit if they just CGI him in-plus from what ive heard, they're in alt mode only twice anyways.

Logic tells me this is true, but I keep doubting.

I'm sure Megatron is confirmed dead too. But I have a bad feeling they'll bring him back for no reason.

:lol  I seriously doubt any vehicle costs $6 million/day to rent. For that amount they could build a whole fleet of them ;)

No, you misunderstood him...it costs Bay $6 million a day...because it is Bay. :lolol

But seriously, while I don't think it would be that much, that thing has to be expensive to rent...it's huge!

Long Haul's alt mode about the frigin size of a house!!! Imagine how f***ing huge he'll be in robot mode!!!
And then you think about Devastator with Long Haul as half the body, Devastator is going to be MASSIVE!!!

Exaggerated, prolly. But fair enough if the vehicle really is expensive. (And I remember reading elsewhere that it just isn't as easy to scurry construction vehicles about different locations. And this is filming internationally, no?)

As far as the Bonecrusher and Devastator names being used already then maybe re-used in ROTF, I don't see as a big deal aside from the serious Transfans. I mean, most of my adult friends have seen the first movie and couldn't even tell you Ironhide's name. Like they're gonna remember that small blurb Devvie and Bonecrusher got? I even know one guy- fairly intelligent and decent memory- called Bumblebee "Yellowjacket."

Whether or not they're in the movie? I'm really believing this rumour in particular. Though it's one I'd seriously like to see officially confirmed or debunked. I mean, look at how excited some fans have gotten over the idea of Devastator being in ROTF! And generally believing he will be. If not, the backlash will only increase the longer it's carried on.

I'm sure they announced the vehicles that would form Devastor a while back, so until it is denied I can't to see how massive he will be in robot mode

What I find interesting is that Devestator in TF1 was only called Devestator in the movie itself, once, and was because Bay kept calling him that because he was going off the last batch of concept names I think. Every other time the name is given of the character using the XXX Stealth Tank prop, it's Brawl.

As for Bonecrusher, that name probably won't be comming back, or he'll hate that:dunce  sillyness aside, there's nothing that says people can't call him Bonecrusher themselves if Devy's in the film.

If (G1 name) Devestator is in RotF, he could keep that name if parts of TF Devestator are used, or he is revived and used to make him.

I just got this Tim The Enchanter vibe from that.

But with all the hype and "leaked concept art" and whatnot, it's be monumentally stupid to not include Devastator in the movie. Otherwise, this would be the biggest "piss off the fans" moment in any franchise EVER.

And I'm looking at you, last episode of "Enterprise."

6 Mil actually seems quite reasonable. My grandfather operate one for decades. These things are made to order, meaning that there really aren't any just sitting around, unused. That means you have to halt mining operations for the whole day, not producing but still paying costs, plus a reasonable percentage for profit for the company your renting from, plus a huge maintenance, plus transporting the thing, plus whatever other fees arise. When you look at it that way, 6 million is actually quite a deal.
