Ok, I may have mentioned this before on another topic, but techinilly it was not part of the topic and it was never answered. So I asked this, today I'm going to a nex collector store that is selling a used Classic Optimus Prime. The clerck says it's in good condition, but it's missing Optimus' gray and black gun aka The Exhaust pipe for the truck mode. Is the Exhaust gun for Optimus Prime important or can I work without it?

If you like it, it's important.

Use it as a bartering tactic. It's incomplete so it's worth less.

As someone who refuses to buy incomplete Transformers (and wouldn't accept one if it was free), I think it's pretty important. That gun looks a whole lot better for Prime, and the smokestacks really help make the vehicle mode look cool.

If it's dirt cheap, I guess you should go for it, but if it's around normal price try and go for a complete one. Though you could always try and get the gun separately, but that doesn't always work out well.

I like the gun, I wouldn't want to have a Prime without it. However, Darkov does make a repro of it. I would go for it if it were a lot cheaper than a complete figure, then get the repro gun.

I personally bought an incomplete classics version. Got it dirt cheap and didn't want to pass on it especially with the prices now for it. I know it doesn't complete it on the alt mode but I keep it in robot mode. Instead I bought the TFC Gears of War weapon set for it and I'm all happy for it..

I'd say they're important. I use them for his bot mode smokestacks.

The truck mode also looks really weird without them. In my opinion, anyway.

Yes, I think it's important. I don't enjoy figures as much if they're not complete.

If it was just a gun I'd say it's not important. But it's also part of his alt mode and if it was me it would bug me everytime I looked at him as a truck and saw it missing a part.

So, Are you all saying I shouldn't buy it unless it does have the Exhaust gun?

Depends how cheap you can get it for. Paying less can soften the problem. :p

It depends on how much it is. If it's dirt cheap, I'd go for it. If not, wait for a chance at a complete one.

I think you can make that decision on your own? Your money, your choice. You're the one that will have to deal with it man.

if you pay less than 15$ for that incomplete prime, it might be worth it. The smokestack guns alone are worth 12$ + sometimes.

No, that's way too much for incomplete.

Then again, I got mine for $15 complete, so maybe I'm just spoiled with my luck.

How much is he selling it for?? Also, if you're getting the one I almost bought, it's 17 dollars so bargaining is pointless as he's firm on that price.
