Animated will NOT flop. It has several elements needed to make it a success.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it reaches Armada levels of popularity.

They were given 3 chances... They made a semi-decent armada, and then two series which took every aspect that bothers me about "ANIME" series.

Gundam is not good example and I would not want any series close to Gundam. I don't think any of those series were well written or had groundbreaking unique animation.

I've had my fill of it. They tried to sell a cultural Eastern Philosophy that can only be understood by those who like that sort of thing.

Shows such as Inuyasha got away with it. But they are the same tired plotlines and melodramatic cliches told so many ways that it's not funny.

yea they can go back to the huge plot holes, continium errors, and random characters that are dead, popping up randomly, for no reason, along with heads changing sizes...

yea... you know g1, didn't even have top notch animation in the 80's little alone today lol!

also, i think a gundam transformers style series, just wouldn't be for me, heck, other then wing, 0083, ms 8th team, and g gundam, i haven't liked ANY gundams lol other then thoses. even if i do like the msia figures, i still don't like the anime's, and i'm a pretty huge anime fan too, boring plots, stories are dragged on forever...

i'm actually happy that for once, transformers is being done mainly by hasbro again, something that hasn't been done since beast wars as far as i remember lol.

so i hope cartoon network handles ALL of the future transformers cartoons, from here on :)

You have purposefully been dense across multple threads about the concept of animation styles. Regardless of the sweatshop or studio doing the work, Animated is AMERICAN in writing, style, series architecture and primary audience. Take an animation history class and then you will understand the difference between American style and Anime.

Gundam has always been emo, although in varying degrees.

Ojamajo DoReMi wasn't an emofeast either. It was quite charming. In fact, there are tons of anime that aren't emo at all.
