Is BT-18 Mirage made of plastic and diecast?

    Seems outrageously priced if there isn't some metal. On the fence.

    In practicality, it is quite difficult to make a metal figure that is transparent.

    It's about the same price as regular BTs, and even though there's no metal, considering it's limited production exclusive, not too bad.

    I dunno, when Kirk and Scotty went back in time to save the whales, Scotty gave a dude the formula for transparent aluminum. That dude may have worked for Takara. Who am I to say?
