because if so I'd be happy I love that look
Who knows. There is so much crap flying around about this damn movie. Now the fallen is a real character and is in charge of the decepticons. The story changes everyday. The first trailer will hopefully give us some real info.
Also we have 40 bots
I'm not so sure we would've seen any of CG-ish depictions of him if it was purely for the toy
well think of it like arcee in the 07 line
Arcee almost was in the first movie though, which is why they got so far along in designing her for the movie. Given we've seen those CG images of Megatron, it kinda suggest they were (or are?) planning to have him in the sequel.
megatron will be back, and the fallen isnt "calling the shots". wtf does that even mean? hes controlling everyone? yea right. everything contradicts itsself..prime never leaves america but the final battle is inegypt...did prim ehave a cold that day? he missed his flight?
2005/2006 concept Arcee didn't exist as a CG model from what I could tell. She was a digital drawing that Hasbro/Takara used to design a toy.
One of the pictures we've seen for Megatron looks like a publicity render.
Either way its cool
Seeing how we've seen megatron silhouetted on the cover of one of the prequel comics, i think he might return. I'm not sure about the fallen myself. He always struck me as such a mguffin character
Yeah, rodger that. Hmm, its too much of a publicity shot for Megs to be "fake" or just part of Bay's misinformation campaingn. Phuleez.
Also Mr Bay = for thinking he can pull the wool over the mighty Fandom's eyes all seeing and all knowing!! Muahahaha.
I dunno... I think it would be fresh to have Megatron gone for a while. Have a new baddie.
UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH how bout no
Maybe prime will die before the end it has been said...Also he doesnt have to leave usa to fight in that battle as that battle will be in cgi..bays talking real life but you think he means in the movie...
I just don't put much faith in anything Bay bothers to tell us any more. Ha ha, I think PR is one of the classes he seems to have missed somewhere in his life because he's got the oddest ways of interacting with the people he's attempting to sell his work to.
He took publicity classes with the Cloverfield guys and Uwe Boll.
"okay so today's lesson is to totally bullshit everything about your plot and footage and have the final product be TOTALLY DIFFERENT from what's been established- it works wonders, guys!"
They all got gold stars on their homework, but only one has made decent movies (Bay, but that's a stretch)
actually, having no megatron(OR galvatron for tht matter) would be a refreshing change
it would be risky but this could be the first franchise to pull it off, the RoS comic went down pretty well. Megatron's been in charge for 25 years*, perhaps it's time to let someone else have a dig(if only for 2 hours)
*i'm disregarding japanese G1 continuities as they aren't well enough known, although scorponok, blackzarak/overlord/devil Z and deszaras were leaders and managed to fill the role fairly well. we're gonna pretend zone just didn't happen though.
I thought that one rumor I had read was that the Autobots had to bring Megatron back to help fight the Fallen. So, it could be that the Fallen is the big problem and possible threat to all life for most of the movie. He kills Prime, the Autobots bring Megs back for a final fight in the desert. Leaving Megatron alive as the threat for the next movie since the alliance would be over between the two.
weren't they working on some of the cgi before the script was even finished (during the strike)? maybe they rendered megs before the script was complete and then they decided to yank him.
