This is my favorite figure of the year so far (and there have been quite a few good ones!). Aside from shoulder joints that want to pop out, this toy is a home run. Great transformation, stunning good looks in both modes...based on one of the coolest characters of TF history (IMO). What more could you want?

So... maybe this is common knowledge but I haven't heard talk about it: the ROFT version's car mode is clearly based on the mid 70's Australian Ford Falcon which was the basis for Mad Max's ride. One more reason that this is a particularly cool toy. Thanks, Hasbro!!

Going by the overkill of Lockdown pictures on this site I'd have to say you're not alone.

Who's Lockdown? Just Kidding, I feel guilty for liking the ROTF version more than Animated Lockdown. Although Stealth Lockdown is still my favorite.

I will say that he is a lot better than the Animated figure, but I am just not a big fan of the character. He replaces my original animated Lockdown on the shelf, but I just personally am not a huge fan of the charter himself.

I am totally in love with him, although I display him away from the smaller bots.

With his hook hand he is like the "Candyman" of the Transformers.

I can just hear Tony Todd's voice coming out of him "I hear you're looking for Lockdown, bitch" (If you get this joke you are my new best friend)

I find it quite epic how the kibble on his left shoulder folds around to be a cape-type thing, I almost cried when I first noticed that.

Heh. He's a fairly popular new character. I guess it helps that his two figures are some of the best in their respective lines. He's tall as heck for a deluxe and if looks could kill, half this forum would be gone.

Yeah. The ROTF Lockdown is alot better than the Animated one. For a while I thought it was just a repaint until I saw the review of him on youtube.

i'm a big old TFA fanboy, so i like the funky animated version more, but lockdown is an absolutely cracking new character.

unlikely as it is, i hope he makes it into the next movie.

aside from the first few opening episodes i watched on youtube, the episode where lockdown was introduced was the only one i saw on tv. im not a fan of the series but he is definately a way awesome character and an even better toy. his vehicle mode is what attracted me to nab him and agree with the mad max feel of it. hell even his robot mode has some kinda weird mad max/road warrior kind of evilness to him. with his one shoulder epaulets and creepy hook. love every bit of him and i find myself tranforming him alot.

to tell you the truth, i still prefer the animated's version. the movie version is still good. i just like the look of the animated one more. it's bigger, and on top of that, it kind'a reminds me of predator. especially with there being the "clear/invisible" verison.

I like him even more after giving him a silver chin/jaw and black under the eyes. looks closer to his animated self, and better in general, imo

Okay figure for me. The sholders constantly popping off ruins it for me.

Not 'love', but I like the toy more than I thought I would. (hated it in photos). Still has some annoying kibble issues around the shoulders & hips.

Of course I'm not a Lockdown fanboy like many here. Send out ROTF/HFTD/Generations/Whatever Bulkhead, and maybe things would be different.
