No real interest from me. I was never overly fond of Starscream. Add the fact that I really don't like the legs and absolutely hate the waist kibble, and I can easily pass on him.

Me too. In pictures it looked horrible...but after I got Skywark I realized it wasnlt quite as bad it seemed. PLus, you can always let it lay flush with the legs too...

How can I be excited when I call the toy department at wallmart and I either get a no, or a no that sounds like they don't know what I am talking about and just say no.

He IS green. Put Classics Mirage next to Movie Payload and they're both still blue.

It's okay, the green looks good, just not as Starscream.

    They're still funny....

    ...most of the time.

I don't even have him and I don't hate the hip kibble. Though the reasoning behind it is stupid.

Alright...thanks to a fellow forum member (thanks again by the way..you know who you are!), I actually found ONE on a local Wally World shelf...albeit with a nice fat crease in the top of the bubble. :mad

Now, before I even saw him I thought this would be a definite must buy for me...but after actually seeing him up close, I decided I had WAY better things to spend 48 bux plus tax on.

I dunno, maybe I'm a snob, but if something has the moniker of "Masterpiece" attached to it in the TF realm, I expect it to be on par with the Takara masterpiece line. I would MUCH rather plunk down 100 bux for MP Skywarp than 48 for MPSS.

I think he will be in mass quantities at some point, just like the Prime was...and just like Prime he will eventually disappear then reappear for a short stint.
If I ever happen to spot an MPSS on clearance like Prime did, I would most definitely pick one up then....but until then, I'm done wasting my time and gas money trying to score one.

I don't understand why people think MPSS is going to be plentiful like DVD Prime. DVD Prime wasn't an exclusive, and wasn't $50 USD.

Ummm... I'm still trying to figure out why people talk like there's some huge difference between the Takara Seekers and the Hasbro one just released. An awesome box is not worth 50 dollars extra.

I've never opened a USA MP Starscream, but I have both the Takara SS and Skywarp loose and they are pretty much all plastic.

They are the more expensive ones, since Takara has to come out of Japan.

So unless the USA version is Die Cast, I don't know what is. (I bought the USA version for friends, but declined to keep one for myself).

Hmmm, well thanks for the info....oh and the overly welcome, happy tone as well :rolleyes2

I see you had been in a rant mood since being over worked so I guess I can appreciate that...still no reason to jump down my throat for being mis-informed from reading other threads about MPSS.

But whatever, thanks again for the clear-up....still prefer the Takara MP line and packaging :)

    I was?

Hmmm...ok if you say so. Funny how my post count makes me the bad guy right from the start.

The smart alec tone was the initial one line answer I got ("They are the SAME MOLD"); I was just responding in the same fashion. I already saw the other thread by DC explaining he was tired and ranty, so I really don't see what the point of a mod stepping in and slapping my wrist for no reason was.

No point in continuing this I suppose since you have the mod stick out and I don't want to get banned for something as silly as this.

your post count means nothing. I treat everyone the same. and I posted in here long before he posted his rant thread.
