I wouldnt mind it per say but i also wouldnt mind seeing a new series with totally new ideas. If they did do one on the movieverse i think it could give some great ideas for future TF films.

If it rectifies the movies' flaws, I'm sold. I think it's worth pointing out here that Movie-verse stories not penned by the movies' writers (Furman's Titan comics, for instance) are far better than the writing featured in the movies themselves.

Sorry not a fan of Furman's writing. I do like Mowry's writing though.

The movie-verse Transformers are too complicated and in would cost too much and take too much time to animate. A Japanese style miniseries would be better than a regular series for the movie-verse.

I love the movie-verse, but I don't think it would translate into a tv series too well

Yup I get your point. Heck Mowry should be the writer if there is a new toon based on the movie. Wyatt could do the designs. Just look at how cool his Blackout is.

I'm not a fan of the Movieverse in general, but even I can admit I'd watch something like that.

I think Wyatt's designs would make me even watch the Unicron Trilogy lol.

That's kind of what I was thinking too.
I'd love to see a TF show done in 3D again. But hopfully animated better then Energon/Cybertron.

They could simplify the designs. Kind of like what they did with Clone wars.

Really not a fan of the movie universe so I hope what ever cartoon we get next isn't like the movies. I'd like to at least hold a small bit of hope that maybe one day we'd get toys that didn't look like the movie toys so a movie cartoon series might mean I was stuck with just movie looking toys on the shelves for a very long time.

But even if the next series is movie related I'll at least give it a shot. Since they would have to fill seasons instead of just 2 hours maybe they would have more personality and the Decepticons wouldn't be as weak. I mean heck I hated the American live action Godzilla movie with a passion, but the cartoon series wasn't bad because Godzilla stopped running from everything, kicked butt, and breathed fire. So who knows maybe someone could get rid of the things I don't like for a Transformers movie style cartoon.

A cartoon with movieverse aspects is exactly what I want next.
Of course the designs would be simplified, duh.

My main concern with a movie based series, is that by the time the ROTF stuff has run its course, I'm gonna be burnt out on the style, like I was after the first movie. If so, I'd rather not be stuck with that as the main media over the course of the next 3 years.

I'd prefer something that isn't Bay based between the movies. Just so we can get away from all that for a breather between the last madness and the next madness.

I would definetly watch something movie based. There are a lot of wide open angles it could potencially take in cartoon format.

A simplified style like this piece of art by Littleiron on DeviantArt would be nice:

If they did make a movie based cartoon, I'd watch it... It couldn't possibly be any worse than the current series (I have to go fend off the angry mob of Animated fans that are in my front yard lighting torches now, when will I ever learn to keep my big mouth shut!...)

Besides, with a movie based cartoon, people might get the chance to see some of the characters they wanted to see in the movie(s), but didn't show up due to time constraints, budget, producers/director/studio/etc. not giving a rat's ass what the fans want to see, or whatever reason a particular bot didn't make it in.

And, it would pave the way for more "stimulating philisophical discussions" about weather Jazz is coming back in the cartoon or not! (insert beaten dead horse here) lol

I'm not really a fan of the wonky artwork in Clone Wars or in TF:A. If they just had some traditional cartoon artwork, cool characters and interesting storylines, I'd watch it religiously.
