To be honest I've been really wanting to like ant man alot but to be honest theres nothing really big on his own that he has I was wondering if this is worth a check out. Also is there anyother Antman book that anyone knows about that they can recommend. I saw the essential antman on amazon and that kinda looks cool,anyone read that yet? Yes! It is exceptionally funny. It's actually the debut of the Ant Man that's currently running around in the Secret Avengers and was in Osborn's Thunderbolts. Totally a despicable character.
I like Eric o Grady as ant man. But didnt think he was enough to pin a while book on. He was great in the initiative dark and now secret Avengers. One of my favourite moments in comics is during the initiative when him and taskmaster sit down and watch some tv show on his iPod instead of going to fight KIA with everyone else.
I enjoy Kirkman (TWD and Invinicble are great) but I honestly couldn't get through the first issue. I even tried reading it on the toilet, where I can get through anything I'm having trouble reading, and I still couldn't finish it. Too each their own though.
