What toys (transformers or not) do you like that are typically, bad toys in the eyes of the fandom. Mine are:

Bruticus from RID. (The three headed dog) From what I have heard this figure was to be released with BM and would have fit in nicely with Noble/ Savage story line. I like it because it is different and original. I really think Hasbro didn't get the transformation correctly on the instructions so it looked like crap.

    The other,

Chromedome from Gen 1. Looking back at my favs from gen 1 there is an attachment to some toys that I had. Chromedome, was one of them. Aside from the gimmick he sucked. Little in articulation, little in design or concept and he wasn't even a very cool character in the Rebirth series. (I really need to get headmasters to see him in action) His car mode is even a little lame. But in any case he is one of my favs.
    Thoughts??

I also love the SWTF, I'm a huge fan of the concept. I also loved Energon Insecticon, though alot of people didn't.

But I think the best example of this is my love for Cybertron Dirt Boss/GF Inch-Up. He is probably my favourite TF ever made. Ever. And yet fans everywhere seem to dislike him, though nobody has ever given me a good, rational reason why.

Grandius for me, even though I do not own him, yet. So what he has no articulation. and to transform him you open up his front. I WANT HIM!!!!!

I like my new Star Convoy. Bricktastic, and the fun never stops when he jousts with Gigastorm or chases my cats!

I like Chromedome too...and Hardhead...actually for being bricks, all of the Headmasters were pretty cool, especially the horrorcons (at least they had a little bit more movement then their brethren)

Other series, I think Energon Ironhide is by far one of the best from the line. His alt mode is terrible for sure and he was the worst shelfwarmer since Transquito, but the bot mode is well articulated and fun. it's big and clunky...a robot!

Armada Sideswipe and Scavenger aren't on my top fifty Transformers of all time, but I seem to like them a lot more than everyone else.

Cybertron Metroplex totally rocks in my opinion though many say his alt mode is horrid. Also Slugslinger from energon. And though most totally hated them and thought they were hokey i am a huge fan of energon Grimlock and Swoop. Grimlock especially is a great homage.

I like the jumpstarters. I loved them as a kid and I love them now. When they work it is great to have one speed toward an enemy and transform just as they get there. It's like a cartoon on your floor.

That'd have to be Armada Scavenger for me. He's a big ol' brick of condensed green fun.

No way! E Slugslinger is great! Articulated, well proportioned bot mode, and a really cool alt mode. Even though I'm not a fan of his snear, he's still got a cool head sculpt.

I like Cyb Thundercracker, but a lot of people really pan him. He's got good articulation, a realistic aircraft alt mode, that doesn't have ten tons of undercarriage, a big honkin' gun arm.

I liked the first of the G1 pretenders, too. I thought the slim athletic bot modes were a nice change from the usuall bulky look.

The Jumpstarters really weren't that bad either, but Topspin > Twintwist. :p

I finally got these guys, and yes I love em, Grimlock the most, I can't put him down, I fiddle with him all the time.

and another for me is Armada Overload/E Magnus, I dig the bot mode even tho he's a brick. :thumbs2:

For me, I'd have to say it's Star Convoy. Sure he's essentially a giant brick, but he's a fun brick. I like having him chase my Decepticons around my kitchen floor...

To my knowledge, there's never been an RC TF. That would be cool!
