I'm sure most of us have had strange, unexplainable cravings for certain specific things from time to time. I find these to be really interesting, especially when the craving is for something that you really don't like. For example, the thing that I was just craving and what 'inspired' me to start this admittedly random thread is Vegmix. I think that's one of the names it goes by. It's the nasty canned mix of potatos, carrots, corn, peas, green beans and sometimes lima beans. I HATE canned vegetables, not only because of the lack of nutrients but the aweful 'canned' flavor, and Vegmix has the worst canned flavor of all. Even still, as I'm walking down the hallway at work, minding my own business and thinking of little else than how much time is left before I can go home, BAM. VEGMIX! Had someone, say a smartly dressed butler with a silver tray, stepped out from a doorway offering me a steaming bowl of Vegmix I would have gladly devoured it. Why? This is actually the only time I've craved Vegmix. A common craving for me is school cafeteria pizza. Those large rectangular slices of soft, floppy goo that taste like ketchup, vegetable oil, yeast and salt. Everyone pretended to like it because, hey, it's pizza! But it was terrible. I haven't had it since 11th or 12th grade, but at least two or three times a year I'll get a hankering for a slice. Anyone else suffer from weird random cravings, or is it just the tumor on my brain stem acting up again?
